Hello! I'm Nikki Chi...
I grew up in a small town in Ohio and always dreamed I would see the world one day—particularly Paris. That dream finally came true in 2014, and it forever changed how I see life!
For every moment I spent in Paris, I was so present and aware that it transformed all of my experiences from then on. After feeling that magic, I became a full-time traveler and began writing to record the teachings and wisdom travel has given me. Now, my desire is to write to inspire you to live mindfully in everyday life and encourage you to make your wildest dreams come true, whether they are to travel or to just enjoy life in your hometown. I am a regular person just like you; I didn’t win the lottery or inherit a great sum of money. I keep life simple and am mindful with my money so that I can make the most of it. If you’re looking at my site and think travel isn’t possible for you, then I’m here to tell you that it is because it is for me!
Come along on my exploration of the world, from my own backyard to the distant lands of faraway places! I promise to share with you tried and true travel tips, lessons learned on the road, comical adventures, and my insights to mindful living—taken from real travel experience and applied to life at home.
All the photos on my website are taken by me or my travel partner. My goal is to share my life of travel, and what better way than to use my own everyday photos.

Yellowstone National Park is 2.2 million acres of forests, grassland, and water. There's no cell service or wifi, so it can be quite overwhelming to figure out your itinerary because there’s just SO much to see and literally all of it is magnificent!
Whether you are mumbling terribly mispronounced words in a new language, eating Indian food with your hands for the first time, or being herded through public transportation stations in a foreign country… I am a firm believer that travel is one of the greatest teachers in the world.
